Developed from the consolidation of major legacy brands, today’s M-D® PRO name includes well-known brands like Loxcreen, Bengard, Dura-Trim, and KinTrim – the first maker of carpet metals in the United States. Grounded in a heritage of expertise and the drive to fill industry needs, our flooring, tile, and stone installation accessories have been used and respected by contractors throughout North America since 1968.
Our newest generation of brands, PROVA® Tile Installation Products and M-D® PRO Flooring Accessories, are the next steps in that legacy.

Our broad range of wall base, trim, stair treads, and nosing products are flexible, durable, easy-to-install, and always designed with the contractor in mind.

Founded by M-D PRO to fill the industry need for moisture-mitigating tile underlayment systems, the PROVA brand story began with PROTEGGA® Tile Underlay in 1999. An expanded PROVA line followed in 2001, delivering reliable protection against vapor as the ultimate waterproofing system. 

Today, PROVA Tile Installation Products provides reliable, pro-select waterproofing, tile, and stone installation accessories that deliver simple, lasting installation.  As an alternative to manufacturers that adapt European products to the North American market, PROVA products are proudly designed, engineered, and intended for North American contractors.
